Short Film - EVA

'EVA' is a film that explores mental health themes in an intense and dreamlike way. The story follows Eva, a young woman just released from a psychiatric clinic, as she embarks on an inner journey through past memories.

For this project, I collaborated with a diverse team including the director, set designer, hair and makeup artists, and my costume team. I primarily handled the aesthetic and fashion aspects, assisting the director during the concept phase and filming.

The costume design required a delicate balance between realism and symbolism, creating outfits that reflected both Eva's everyday reality and her distorted mental landscape.

Each garment was carefully selected to support the emotional narrative of the film, with color palettes and textures evolving alongside Eva's psychological journey.

This project was particularly meaningful as it showcased how costume design can contribute to storytelling in mental health narratives, adding visual depth to complex emotional experiences.
